I. Geophysicist (1 Position Open)
Global Synergy Corporation is seeking a high-quality experienced geophysicist. The position is primarily based in Houston, Texas, with worldwide travel expected.
General Criteria/Qualifications Required:
- Work experience relevant to the position being sought
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Established record of implementing/executing new or novel geophysical techniques and processes
- Excellent teamwork skills within integrated project teams to find the best solutions to geophysical imaging and applications problems with a diverse and sometimes distant workforce (virtual teams)
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of the latest industry technology
- Excellent presentation skills, including preparing and presenting information to company executives, technical management and peers in the same or related areas of work via informal or formal technical presentations
- Established record of working independently
Preferred:
- MS or PhD degree in related field of study
- Minimum 10 year experience in oil and gas exploration and production
- Complementary degrees in geology and geophysics or equivalent work experience
- Exposure to applied geophysics in both clastic and carbonate environments
- Familiarity with GeoFrame, Petrel, Hampson-Russell, Jason, GeoDepth, RokDoc, ProMax and Matlab
II. Drilling Engineer (1 Position Open)
Global Synergy Corporation is seeking a high-quality experienced drilling engineer. The position is primarily based in Houston, Texas, with worldwide travel expected.
General Criteria/Qualifications Required:
- Work experience relevant to the position being sought
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Established record of designing both vertical and horizontal wells
- Excellent teamwork skills within integrated project teams to find the best solutions to drilling problems with a diverse and sometimes distant workforce (virtual teams)
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of the latest industry technology
- Excellent presentation skills, including preparing and presenting information to company executives, technical management and peers in the same or related areas of work via informal or formal technical presentations
- Established record of working independently
Preferred:
- MS or PhD degree in related field of study
- Minimum 15 year experience in oil and gas exploration and production
- Complementary degrees in reservoir engineering or equivalent work experience
- Exposure to drilling engineering in both desert and offshore environments
- Familiarity with commonly used reservoir engineering and well designing software
III. Power Generation Engineer (1 Position Open)
Global Synergy Corporation is seeking a high-quality experienced power generation engineer. The position is primarily based in Houston, Texas, with worldwide travel expected.
General Criteria/Qualifications Required:
- Work experience relevant to the position being sought
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Established record of supervising EPC contracts for gas turbine power plants
- Excellent teamwork skills within integrated project teams to find the best solutions to gas turbine power plant EPC related problems with a diverse and sometimes distant workforce (virtual teams)
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of the latest industry technology
- Excellent presentation skills, including preparing and presenting information to company executives, technical management and peers in the same or related areas of work via informal or formal technical presentations
- Established record of working independently
Preferred:
- BS or MS degree in related field of study
- Minimum 15 year experience in power generation
- Complementary degrees in power generation or equivalent work experience
- Exposure to both gas turbine power generation and geothermal power generation projects
